A Note From the Founder.
With a foundation in design and fine arts, my relationship with light began long before landscape — it started in sculpture, where I learned firsthand how light could completely transform form, texture, and space.
When I turned my focus to landscape lighting, I quickly recognized that most of what exists in the industry gets it wrong. Harsh fixtures. Overlit plants. Light that competes with the landscape instead of serving it. For a homeowner who has invested in fine landscaping, that isn't just a missed opportunity — it's a disservice.
My approach is rooted in restraint and intention. The fixture should never be the subject. When lighting is done with true artistry, it disappears — and what remains feels as natural as moonlight. You don't ask where it's coming from. You simply feel it.
At D'Light Designs, every project is a study in nuance. We work with the natural form of your trees, plants, and architecture — honoring their texture, depth, and character through carefully considered light and shadow. This is not a product we install. It is a design we create.
